Knoxville First SDA Church is embarking on an exciting new chapter as a church family. We are launching a Capital Campaign to raise funds for significant renovations to our church building. Our church has not had any structural upgrades since the 1970’s, with the last renovations being in the 1990’s. As such, we are laying plans to build the foundation of our future church and generation.
PHASE ONE TOTAL GOAL: $3,000,000
FUND GOAL DATE: July 29, 2029
Phase 1 renovations include:
Accessibility: New elevators will make it easier for everyone to get between floors. Both the main level and lower-level entrances will be ADA accessible.
Fire Safety: Our stairwell and balcony will be modernized to meet current fire safety standards, keeping everyone safe.
Sanctuary Upgrades: The sanctuary will receive new carpet, paint, lighting, and refinished pews. The balcony will be remodeled to allow for improved balcony view and audio capabilities.
Growth: More restrooms will be installed on the lower level (men’s, women’s, and family restrooms) and an additional restroom on the upper level near the mother’s room.
Our renovation goals address time-critical projects necessitated by outdated facilities and a growing church body. We aim to make our house of worship a more welcoming and safer place for everyone.
These changes will help us better serve our community and ensure our church remains a welcoming and safe place for everyone. Please pray about how your family can support this important initiative.
